She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Robert Davis Sr.; and her second husband, Augustine Victor Guarisco; her parents, Edwin Joseph Zimlich Sr. and Teresa Zimlich; her siblings, Edwin J. Zimlich Jr., Bernard H. Zimlich and Anna Rita Merrell.Doris graduated from Visitation Academy in 1946. She worked at Goldstein's, Gayfers and retired from Dillard's where she worked in the china department.Doris was a member of Christ the King Altar Sodality/Burse Club. Her hobby was gardening. She enjoyed working in her yard, particularly loved raising flowers.Doris was the daughter of a Mobile Truck Farmer on Hurtel St. in Mobile.She is survived by her four children, William (Charlene) Robert Davis Jr., Thomas (Debbie) Frederick Davis, Paul (Kathy) Zimlich Davis, Marilyn (Larry) Davis King; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a host of other loving relatives and friends.Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, Aug. 18, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service.Interment will be at 2 p.m. at Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile.In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorials be made to Visitation Monastery, 2300 Springhill Ave., Mobile, AL. 36607.Arrangements by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 27409 U.S. Hwy. 98, Daphne, AL 36526, 251-625-2900, www.wolfefuneralhomes.com.
